An Active Older Adult resembles our mature audience at the YMCA. The following activities and classes listed on our AOA Schedule are offered for our Active Older Adults Members.

Day Trippers
Outings, day trips, field trips and excursions ... join an active group to travel to museums, galleries, factories and other special points of interest. Destinations and trips are subject to change and suggestions are always welcome. Check the monthly event calendar or contact us at 503.644.3900.

Exercise Your Brain
Seminars, workshops and lectures. Learn the latest health research from the experts; attend a brown bag lunch on a topic of interest; join an active workshop on how to improve the quality of your life. Exercise Classes
Forever Fit. An hour long impact aerobics class with elements of cardio, balance, abdominal and stretching exercises. 

Aquafit. A moderate to intense water workout for those who would like to add variety to their daily fitness routine.

Senior Circuit Weight Training. This class is 25 minutes of strength and endurance. Participants need to make an appointment with a trainer to be shown how to properly use the circuit weight training machines. The class format includes using all the circuit weight machines and some additional stations. There will be 45 seconds of music exercising and 12 – 15 seconds of silence to switch stations.
